The Queensland fight
community have proudly
accepted Evolution as their
own, turning up in droves and
selling out seats with each passing
event. And we’re not talking about a
couple of hundred fight-fans turning
up, we’re talking in the region of
five thousand people on the edge
of their seats watching one quality
Muay Thai fight after another.
Speaking of quality, promoters Nugget
and Josh Sexton have a knack for
listening to what people want to
see – and bringing it. Followers are
continually stumped at how these
guys manage to put together a
better card than the last. Even in
the humble beginnings, Evolution
1 excited fight fans by throwing
Bannon, Preacher, Butcher, Soren,
TS2, Finlayson and Forrester all on
the one event – what an entrance!
So with their success in
Queensland it was decided to
take Evolution nationally, and
Melbourne, with its strong fight
community, was identified as the
second stop for the Evolution
team. Having hosted some
big kickboxing and Muay Thai
