BOONCHU GYM HISTORY:::
With the help of my sponsors I opened the Boonchu Gym in 1999. We were open for 5 years teaching classes and training many Australian local fighters. Many of these fighters went on to become state, national and international champions. In 2005 we moved to a larger facility, before moving to our current location at Burleigh Heads where we currently train 60 members and about a dozen fighters. We have introduced children’s classes to try and find the next generation of Muay Thai superstars.
Families
With the help of my world champion wife Angela Parr Boonchu gym has begun promoting amateur tournaments for local fighters who are trying to make a start in Muay Thai fighting. Our last show we had 30 fights with 750 spectators so we are slowly growing into a place to start your fighting career in Qld.
